If you were to give advice to someone just starting to stretch their ears, what would it be

I wish I had advice from others when I first started stretching my ears.  Here is the chance for you to give others some advice.
If you were to give advice to someone just starting to stretch their ears, what would it be?

Definitely take your time. Ear lobes are sensitive and can tear. I used lotion on mine to make sure they went in easily. If I use wood or silicone I have to use moisturizer on them because my lobes would dry out. And definitely keep them clean!

Do it slowly…. be patient. You don’t want to rip your ears or cause damage. When you streach your ears slowly it helps with healing.

I know it’s hard to be patient. Trust me, I’m not very patient. But when it comes to stretching you need to be. Do your research! Whether surfing the Internet or watching videos do your research! Take a warm shower before you stretch, bring some music into the bathroom, and just relax. Massage your lobes with coconut oil or jojoba oil and slowly insert the taper. You will feel a slight sting when you get the taper through but nothing more. If its hurting then stop. There shouldn’t be blood gushing from your holes! Sometimes when stretching it takes me about 5min or more to get tapers through. Push a little, massage, push a little, massage, etc. That’s why I recommend music or watching something. This isn’t a race and don’t let anyone peer pressure you. Everyone’s ears are different! Do not EVER skip sizes. This could lead to tearing, infections, and blowouts. You want healthy looking, beautiful stretched ears. Oh and remember to breath! You will get to your desired size in no time!

Wait atleast 2-4 wks between streaches take your time to avoid tearing

Be patient! Go slow and clean, don’t skip around! It’s much easier and comfortable to do it the right way, so be patient. It’s worth it!
