If you were to give advice to someone just starting to stretch their ears, what would it be

I wish I had advice from others when I first started stretching my ears.  Here is the chance for you to give others some advice.

Don’t rush it. Healthy loves are the best lobes. Lube your tapers so not pulling the skin, massage your lobes with oil to help healing and stretching. Give plenty of time between sizing up. Sizing up shouldn’t hurt. If it does you’re rushing it and your lobes need more time at that size.

Start off small, make sure to use the proper lubricants, and take your time.

Start out small and slow, and try to use tapers. Jojoba oil was a helpful lubricant for me to help gently push the tapers through each day. Try to use glass or metal tapers, as wood is too porous and will immediately absorb any oil or lubricants when stretching. Keep the tapers clean, a few times daily.

Take your time to avoid damage to your body. You’ll be thankful you did, and could experience worse than regret if you don’t.

Use tapers. Go slowly, or you run the risk of accidentally ripping your earlobe (and there is NO WAY to make that look good, short of surgery).
Use a bit of triple antibiotic ointment with a mild topical pain killer in it. It will make the tapers a bit slippery and easier to (GENTLY) insert into the piercings & (GRADUALLY) size up.
