I am having issues going from a 2g to 0g. I have been at a 2g for over 2 years.
Ive had a few problems no matter how long I waited ect 2-3 months It hurt like hell sizing up and if i wore anything with 0rings on them My ears would swell, chaf and itch like heck
Alright so I had a problem going up from an 8g to a 6g. My ears just wouldn’t stretch and they hurt more than they should’ve. I did some digging and found that its recommended to wait 3 months between 8 and 6.
It’s frustrating and scary when a stretch won’t work. Scary because you don’t want to force it because all you see is blowouts and tearing and more blowouts! Frustrating because you thought you waited enough and it should work but it’s not.
So if you’re having troubles wait some more time. Ugh, I know that sounds rough but it’s better in the long run. And your time won’t be delayed by healing and going down a size.
Look up wait time between sizes and if it’s still not working after the recommended time then wait.
Take a warm shower with your current sized tunnels in your ears. Play some music in your bathroom. Get JOJOBA oil! It’s the best. Remove your tunnels and massage your ears for a minute.
Lube up the taper for the new size and slowly insert in your ear. If you feel a little sting stop and massage your lobes with the tapers in. Massage and let a song playthrough and then try moving them in a little more.
After you do this process and you’re at the end of the taper lube up the tunnels. Push the taper in to where it’s halfway through your hole. Slowly insert the tunnel and push it through.
But say you try and it’s just not wanting to go through!!?? Re insert the new taper and take out the o rings. Place an o ring on the front of the taper and the back so it stays in place. Go about your day with the tapers in your ears. This will help your hole get used to the new size.
At the end of the day go back into your bathroom with music. Massage oil around and on the tapers. Remove the o rings from the taper and oil up the tunnels. Slowly push the taper through y our hole to about halfway. Line up the tunnel and slowly push the tunnel through.
This method has been successful with me when my ears were stubborn. I hope it works for you. But if there’s a lot of pain or blood flowing out, STOP. Place your old size back in and wait 2 weeks or more before trying again. Also, again, look up the recommended time between stretches! Good luck.
I cant seem to get my ears to stretch past a size 10. I dont know if its my fear of ripping my lobes or if i am doing something wrong.
I’ve never experienced flex ears before how can you get more info
