I wish I had advice from others when I first started stretching my ears. Here is the chance for you to give others some advice.
If you were to give advice to someone just starting to stretch their ears, what would it be?

If someone told me they were thinking of stretching their ears I would advise them to research quite a bit before stretching to get as much information as possible because much of the information you read when first starting out can be incorrect and you really have to to learn about best practiced, what is safe and what is not safe while stretching. I would also advise them not to rush stretching, go slow and your ears will thank you. Stretching to fast can be detrimental to your ear health and can cause further stretching to be very difficult or impossible in the future. Listen to your body and never stretch your ears if they are not fully healed from the last stretch.
This is a practice that really takes a lot of time and patience.
I would also advise researching different stretching methods and the problems that might arise while in the process.
Research different materials and stay away from things like acrylic and silicone or organics such as stone, wood, and shells, while your ears are still healing.
Only use tapers to stretch up to size 00 then after that, use stone plugs to weigh down your ears to size up faster.
Stretching takes a lot of time and patience. I remember when I started I just wanted to keep sizing up. But you will end up ruining your ears if you don’t take it slow and allow your ears to fully heal. Whenever I size up to my next size, I make sure I’m using either Vaseline or another lubricant with healing properties. Also, when you first start out, I highly recommend using tapers to size up. They make tapers for a lot of sizes, but it’s a little more rare to find them in the sizes over maybe a 00. But don’t leave them in for very long if they are big either, there is a possibility of blowing out the back of your ears because of the weight on the back of the taper.
Do not force it! And lubrication is key. Be kind to your lobes.
Go slow! If you try to go up too fast you’ll rip your ears and they’ll never be the same. Wait at least 4-6 weeks between sizes. A good outcome is worth the wait
