I actually used to leave my tapers out for weeks at a time (regretfully) and this last time I was in 10G and I bought 8G to push through after not having anything for a week. I used cooking oil and coconut oil and pushed them through. It didn’t hurt but I stretched from about a 14/12 to a 10 so they were a little irritated the following morning

Wrap. I used Teflon tape from a hardware store. Usually 5 wrap arounds every week until you get to desired size.

As a professional piercer, I have learned from many mistakes myself that the best way to stretch is to wait at least a month or two between stretching even if they feel healed. Next make sure you stretch with tapers but transfer over to stainless steel plugs, as acrylic and silicone and porous and will trap bacteria. For extra tips, try and stretch in the shower were your skin can loosen up a bit and make it easier to stretch. Also lubing up your plugs daily can help with dryness and cracking. But other than that, being safe is key and I hope this helps anyone!

Massage and pull at them everyday with some Emu oil! And play with them throughout the day. It helps keep the elasticity of the skin the oil helps heal any scar tissue. You can also use Vitamin E oil, but Emu oil is less sticky.

tape. tape. tape. i can just wrap a new layer of tape around every night and it is magic. There is next to no pain, for me it is faster because there isn’t really any swelling so you don’t have to wait more than a day to tape bigger. maaaaagic :)
