So.. im 22 i have had my ears streched since i was 15 the reason i chose to stretch my ears is pretty personal. I was raped at age 12 along with other crap and self harm has and probably will always be looked down upon, so one day i pierced my ears and started streching immediately the pain from all the stretching made me relax, not only that now that im 1/2in my gauge selection is freaking amazing!

I started stretching my ears at 13. Doing it because i wanted to be the differnt one, also was really big into never becoming military. Its been a whole 10 since ive done them and ive never regretted it.

I started stretching my ears in early March. I decided to do it because my earrings were falling out of my ears. The stud was just falling out the back so I wondered what size I could successfully shove in my ear to keep my earrings from falling out. It’s been 6 months and I’m at the biggest size I want to be at. I went from a 12 to a 0 and that’s my desired size. Absolutely in love.

Honestly, I only wanted to stretch my ears in order to wear the beautiful hangers. I am pretty sensitive to non-precious metals, so I prefer wood, stone, and bone. The first thing I used to stretch were those plastic coated paper clips and I hung skeleton keys on them. I want to be able to wear both plugs and hangers, but I prefer hangers for the way they frame my face and make my neck look slender.

I gauged my ears around 14 years ago. When I started my journey I was a rare piece. No one I knew had gauges and everyone thought I was absolutely crazy. I’ve loved my ears being gauged and wouldn’t change a thing. I enjoy the look and love how awesome gauges look nowa days.
