Our ear stretching kits give you the ability to stretch your ears at home. You will have to use your best judgement and your own knowledge on whether your ears are ready for stretching. Our tapers will allow you easy and smooth transition between sizes. Our tapers will guide the single flare plugs from our kit into your ear with ease.

Using a kit from 2 gauges to 0 gauges

This is a your first giant leap for stretching your ears. This is a 2mm jump between sizes. Before this stretch your ears have been used to stretching in 1mm increments. 1mm size increments are a much easier stretch then this 2mm jump. We are not sure why this is a thing. A lot of customers have trouble with this 2mm jump. They also have problems with the jump from 0 gauges to 00 gauges. If you are feeling a lot of pain trying to get to these gauges sizes we have made a fe 7mm and a 9mm single flare plugs that will make things more easy to stretch.

What size should start with if I use a ear stretching kit?

Most regular pierced ears are at 18 gauge or 16 gauge. You can start using our ear stretching kits at 14 gauge. Which will stretch your ear to this first 14 gauge size. Using our 14 gauge tapers in our kits should be a gentle and smooth transition. It should not cause pain to your ear or discomfort. Remember to take things slow. You do not want to cause irritation to your skin or a blowout. So if there is a lot of pain your ear is not ready to stretch to this size. You need to take time between gauge sizes. Do not move to the next tapers, give your ear plenty of time to heal.
