Want to downsize? How did you reduce your gauge size?

I had my ears stretched to 7/16 but took my plugs out for almost 2yrs. Didn’t use any creams or anything, then decided I wanted to wear plugs again and was able to put a 4g plug in.. then went up to a 2g, I’m good with where they are now and dont think I’ll upsize again.

There’s an herbal tightening cream you can buy at health food stores that really helps. It’s marketed as a scar treatment, I wish I could remember the name… anyway, I got it to use for scars from facial piercings that had been removed and used it on my ears as well and it worked great.

Ive only downsized once. I was at 1/2 inch and I had decided that I wanted to wear normal earrings again. So I just took them out and waited. It took about 3 months and my ears healed back to about 14g. But after I go over 1/2 my ears will not heal back to a “Normal” size.

Is there any certain size you stop at? Like in the process of downsizing, do your ears just stop once they reach a specific size or does it vary for per person? Not entirely sure if I want to go down anymore sizes, but who knows what I’ll want in the future, so I’m just curious.

I don’t have stretched ears, my boyfriend does. He stretched his so much so quickly, that he thinks he can’t get smaller.
