Take your time,I understand the process can be very time consuming but you should always make sure your ears are ready to stretch. I usually go by when my “o” rings start pulling through my ears easily,it shouldn’t hurt when you stretch.
It’s always best to go size by size and never try to skip sizes. Wait at least a month for it to heal and then go on to the next size until you reach your goal.
When I first started, I used steel tapers and jojoba oil. As I got into the larger sizes, I noticed that if I wore stone plugs, they would naturally stretch a little bit due to the weight of the plugs and that’s how I have been continuing! It’s a lot slower of a process I think but very little damage done to your lobes. Plus. If you buy a pair of jewelry for your ears, your going to want to wear them for a while, so make the most of the size your at even if it’s not where you want to be. You’ll get there.
I think it’s best to first wait until your ears have healed from your previous stretching. Then take a hot shower, when you get out use Neosporin, triple antibiotic, even ky jelly and slowly guide the taper through. Followed by your new size plugs.
I think its best to use the correct size tapers and waiting the right amount of healing time between each stretching. I use triple antibiotic ointment as lube when stretching to the next size to prevent infection and minimize healing time.
