I prefer the look of stretched ears. Regular earrings poked my neck when I forgot to remove them at night.
First off I’ve always loved the look of them! Secondly and the most important one is I have a metal allergy so my traditionally pierced ears would always get irritated and inflamed! When speaking with a friend who had stretched ears she said that after she had stretched her ears her didn’t bother her anymore! Now that my ears are stretched I can testify to this! I no longer have an issue with any material I put through my ears! It’s nice being able to actually adorn my ears with jewelry now without the fear of turning green and itching!

I’ve always loved the look of it, and the aesthetic of stretched ears. But mostly it was going through old family photo albums and seeing a picture of one kf my great great aunts with stretched ears. She was the original black sheep of our family. Lol.
