Do you ever feel judged for having stretched ear?

I live in the south so I’m constantly judged for how I look I’m gauged to an inch and I’ve had people tell me that because of how I look I can’t perform the duties of a job. I don’t care the way I look is what lets me express myself.

When I worked in retail I got a lot of judgemental looks from older people because of my stretched ears and colored hair, but it didn’t happen that often! More frequently, I got great compliments from other people with stretched ears, people who wanted to do it too, and even kids who just thought it looks cool. I used to feel really judged because of them, but I began to see thay WAY more people think they’re neat than have anything against it.

Totally!! But you have to just realize that your happiness is all that matters, if it makes you happy than it is the most attractive thing out there!!

I feel judged for my plugs definitely. Especially by my classmates and grandparents.

I am a size 2, with the right gauges, I can hide that my lobes are stretched. I don’t feel judged because I usually wear those types. But I usually wear those types so that i’m not judged. People are usually excited if I wear tapers or something that shows off my guages, but I don’t think they see me as professional. Which is unfortunate cause my guages are beautiful
