Do you ever feel judged for having stretched ear?

Be judged, absolutely. Feel judged, not at all. Just the other day, my best friend’s mother was ranting about how it’s “absolutely disgusting!” and my friend was trying to make her stop and let her know that my ears are stretched, and you know what? I don’t care. A lot of things about me are “disgusting” to old conservatives, and that is just fine with me.

Absolutely. But you eventually stop caring and feel free to let loose.

Yes I do all the time mostly by potential employers and family. I used to get told that it’s ugly or I’m going to regret it. I love them though and I’ve learned to block out the hate and judgement.

Yeah my father-in-law doesn’t like them, even more now ever since we had our daughter. Constantly tells me my ear plugs aren’t a good look and that it’s a bad example for his granddaughter. I still wear them when I feel like it but try not to wear them around him just to avoid the criticism.

From time to time someone will make a comment “why would you do that to yourself?” But this does not bother me. U love my ears this way. "Those who judge dont matter, and those who matter don’t judge. "
