If you were to give advice to someone just starting to stretch their ears, what would it be

I wish I had advice from others when I first started stretching my ears.  Here is the chance for you to give others some advice.

I always tell people to take their sweet time, I only stretched through the small sizes so quickly because my ear piercings were already ripped pretty bad and rehealed that way. I recommend to start using tape from size 2 to 0 based on personal experience. I also warn people that stretching your ears is painful and requires work and commitment, and if you’re not sure about it, you should wait.

Just go slow. You may be in a hurry but if you go too fast you could damage your ear loab. Use some sort of lube when starting to guage, even if it’s water/soap. GO SLOW! I can’t stress that enough. Use a tapered guage. Remember to clean the jewelry and your piercing location! I personally felt itching and realized that my skin didn’t like acrylic but was fine with glass, bone, and wood. Take your time, the result will be worth it!

Just be patient. Patience is key or you could hurt yourself in the process.

Don’t rush it and avoid tapers and any acrylics. Acrylics when heated to body temperature release toxins. Weights and bondage tape are great ways to slowly size up. Also, wait to put in any silicone until your ears are 100% healed because silicone is porous and your ears will try to heal to them.

Use a lot of lube and take your time.
